Buying Journey

Have a good conversation about your delivery timeline with your sales representative when you order. You can help speed the process by turning around all the order paperwork as soon as possible. Avoid making changes to your order after it is in place because that slows it down. Keep in communication with your sales rep about your delivery, including changes in your timeline.

There are three ways to get quotes for products and two ways to purchase them.

  • Call 800.444.1579 and ask to purchase the item(s). The sales rep will ask information about your address and product-specific choices. Once you agree on the items and payment terms, we will start preparing your product for shipment.
  • Sign on to the Chat available on each page. Our reps monitor chat from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT, M-F. You can leave a message during off hours. The rep can get you information and price quotes in chat. However, you will need to make a phone call to provide payment or credit information to complete the sale. This is for your protection.
  • Email a Request a Quote form to receive a quote for the items you need. If you want an immediate purchase, indicate this on the form and provide how you want the sales rep to follow up with you. (You can specify a time and/or telephone number.)

To help those designing rooms and facilities with Shor-Line products, we offer free downloadable dwg files with an accurate registration. This generic file format will allow you to import the drawings into your design software. If you don't see the equipment you need, talk with the sales representative for your area and ask for files to be created for you. You can find the rep for your area here.

Many veterinarians have chosen to add our O2 doors to turn a Stainless Steel cage into a stepdown O2 unit. Read about the features and sizes available for O2 Doors that fit on our Type III cages. If you have a Type I or Type II cage, you can still use most of the single door sizes with an additional retrofit kit. We also offer two double door O2 door conversions that require both an O2 door and a conversion door. Support After the Sale

Absolutely. Our Type III cages are made to open on either the left or right side, and you can reverse it. See the Troubleshooting video "Cage Bank: Reversing the Hinges."

Shor-Line electric lift grooming tables have durable actuators that provide great service. But like every electric part, the more you use it the faster it wears out. However, you can replace the actuator fairly easily. Contact tech support at 800.444.1579 ext. X from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. or fill out this form to request a replacement part. Our Prelude LED Exam and Surgery lights are adjustable for fingertip control. Check out the Troubleshooting video "Surgery Lights: Adjusting the Tension" for help. This should keep the arm where you place it. If this does not fix the issue, contact Tech Support at 800.444.1579 ext. X M-F, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We can help you. Our scales last for decades but their electronic parts do eventually wear out. Try identify a scale that might go out early (I know!). Contact our Tech Support team at 800444.1579 ext X from M-F 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and they can get you up and running quickly with either a new scale or a loaner scale. But they need to make arrangements in the mornings to get your solution shipped. After hours, use this form to request help. Someone will get back to you the next business morning.

The great news is that our scales last a long time. However, they need regular calibration, especially the lobby scale that receives a bit of wear and tear. See the Troubleshooting section and How to Calibrate Your Scale. We show the steps for several common scales. Many people take their mobile device to the scale and do the steps along with the video.
